HMD Secure is a one-year-old startup selling smart devices plus internal and 3rd-party services. A 10–20 person sales team and Technical Account Managers run everything through email and spreadsheets — no shared system, no pipeline visibility, no service history per customer. It's starting to cost deals.

// WHAT TO BUILD

A CRM that gives every role one shared source of truth:

  • Accounts holding contacts, deals, cases and an activity timeline.
  • Deal pipeline with HMD's stages, a direct/reseller flag and a 3-year time-phased forecast.
  • Cases with status, priority, a linked service and threaded notes.
  • Offers built from a finance-managed pricing catalog, with a discount → Sales Manager → Finance approval flow.
  • Role-based dashboards for Rep, TAM, Sales Manager and Finance.
// MAKE IT FEEL AI-NATIVE

Weave in agents where they help — smart contact enrichment, pipeline-at-a-glance with stalled-deal flags, conversational queries ("at-risk enterprise deals in DACH"), meeting notes → CRM updates, an offer drafter, a forecast narrative. Pick what fits.

// PLATFORM

Microsoft Azure + Entra ID SSO (provided), data in the EU region, in-app notifications only. Everything else — architecture, framework, languages — is yours.

// HOW IT'S JUDGED

All P0 features must be working for a successful submission. A new user with no training should walk the core scenario end-to-end without getting stuck: find an account and see deals + cases together, create a deal (direct, with a 12-month forecast), generate an offer from the catalog, close a case as a TAM, see overdue deals + a 3-yr weighted pipeline as a manager, and read a time-phased forecast by quarter as Finance. Use realistic seed data — an empty database doesn't show the product at its best.
