The Double Recovery Agent is an automated operations assistant built for the Bahn Car Delivery Control Room. When it is inevitable that a driver cannot reach their assigned pickup slot in time, the agent performs a simultaneous reassignment, called the "double recovery." It looks for alternative cars for the driver to pick up and also finds other drivers to pick up the original car. The agent then proposes the change to the operations staff through the control room.
